Client is an elderly individual living in very remote and rural QLD- there is no access to public transport. Client is living and support solely themselves. Client is on fixed income and requires specialized medical CPAP machine due to condition and remote living- Client has no savings or superannuation support to allow access to necessary device with 24 hours reporting to assist the client with medical condition. Client is forgoing food to support additional medical treatments at this time, embolizing the client even further. The specialized device is ResMed Air sense 10 with 4G, as well as ResMed Air fit F20 Full Face mask. Local supplier has them in stock-Purchase price is $2170. Client has limited external supports due to location, try's to maintain independence however is struggling with basic needs . Donation of device would allow the client to sustain independent home living and improved medical condition in relation to this chronic condition. Support would life changing
