Mother is a single parent caring for four children and is experiencing significant financial hardship. The family relies solely on Centrelink after Mother lost her job due to domestic and family violence. Rising costs of food, essentials, and school supplies have placed ongoing pressure on the household.
School shoes and bags are urgently required to ensure the children can return to school properly equipped and engaged. Without these items, they risk disengagement and emotional distress.
The family home has no air conditioning and becomes extremely hot. During extreme heat, Mother has had to take the children into the car for cooling. An air conditioner would greatly improve the children’s health, comfort, and safety.
