For the past 3 months, a local woman has living on a disability pension has been housebound due to limited mobility. Everyday tasks many of us take for granted - attending appointments, grocery shopping, or simply getting out into the community have become nearly impossible. She is urgently needing a bariatric wheelchair to safely support her mobility and independence, but the cost is far more than she can afford on a pension. A suitable wheelchair would mean more than just transport - it would give her freedom, dignity and the ability to leave her home again after months of isolation.
