We are seeking support for a 68-year-old gentleman whose life was turned upside down by the Longwood bushfires in January 2026. His family’s land held for generations and central to his life was devastated, with all farming infrastructure lost.
With no insurance, no pension, and no access to grants, he is facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding completely on his own. He had been working toward building a home on the land he loves, but those plans are now uncertain.
This loss has stripped away not only his livelihood, but his sense of stability and future.
