30-year-old mother of two small children aged 2 and 5 months old. She has escaped domestic violence. She currently has an AVO in place to protect her and her children.
She was living in a shelter but has now found a rental her and the children can call their own and feel safe. She receives some help financially from Centrelink but is struggling to provide for her children let alone furnish a home. She escaped with nothing, just her and the children.
Her 2-year-old attends childcare and she is looking to get her 5-month-old into childcare as well. This will let her pursue an Aged Care course in Tafe. This will help her get employment and help give her and her children some stability.
