Diagnosed Breast Cancer 2023, currently stage 4. On Bridging VISA - ministerial intervention DV, son 10yrs, minimal finances.
Domestic & Family Violence
Since her Cancer diagnosis, she has had no support from her husband to attend medical appointments or to be able to recover from treatment.
She has fled from DV with her son, living in Short Term accommodation in a Secure Location.
She is on a Bridging Visa where she has no Work or Study rights and has very little Government support to pay for her medical expenses, legal fees, basic living expenses and to support her son.

Our partner charity has requested this donation for someone they support who is doing it tough.

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
