Domestic & Family Violence
Other hardship(s)
This family requires support due to the significant and ongoing pressures faced by a single mother who left an abusive relationship when her youngest child was born and has since been the sole carer for her four children. Three of the children have diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD with developmental delays, and two are non‑verbal with high support needs. The client’s days are consumed by caring responsibilities, attending frequent specialist and allied health appointments, and navigating the complex NDIS system to access essential supports for her children. Alongside managing behaviours, communication needs, and routines, she is also responsible for all household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and meeting daily needs, often while severely sleep deprived. Living in social housing with limited income and minimal support, the client is under significant financial and emotional strain. Any assistance would greatly ease this burden any support would be greatly appreciated
