This young mother resides in community housing with her son following experiences of domestic and family violence (DFV). As a single-income household, financial resources are limited and the family are currently experiencing financial hardship. This young mother has taken proactive steps toward establishing long-term stability for her family. She is currently enrolled in an allied health assist course which will create an opportunity for her to obtain sustainable employment and financial independence. Additionally, she has enrolled her son in daycare to support his development and social skills. To alleviate some financial stress, it is hoped that items can be provided to the family to support their everyday needs.
