Newly arrived refugees from Afghanistan and Syria need warm blankets to help them through the cold Canberra winter. These clients are provided with basic bedding although need support to obtain more due to the below freezing Canberra winter mornings. All of the clients are struggling financially and rely on very little payments from Centrelink to cover rent, groceries, utilities and much more. We are seeking approximately 13-15 warm blankets that would be suitable to supplement existing doonas for sleeping.
