This client is seeking a laptop to help rebuild their life while managing significant mental health challenges, including Dissociative Identity Disorder, agoraphobia, anxiety, and the long‑term impacts of childhood abuse and domestic violence. Due to difficulty leaving home, a laptop would allow them to access essential supports such as telehealth, online services, and community programs. It would also give them a safe way to manage documents, connect with practitioners, and work toward personal goals. Importantly, it would provide the opportunity to write and express their story, supporting healing, independence, and improved wellbeing.
