This inspiring gentleman is a lifelong volunteer to CFA who unfortunately lost his own house and all belongings in the Jan 2026 bushfires. He loves living rurally in his tight network community and was planning to retire in the next few years. He now has a big project to embark on, including a rebuild of his home and revegetating his property. The rebuild will take time and he would love to be able to start revegetating the now barren and burnt out land on his property in the meantime. He has a very positive attitude and definitely focuses on the future and moving forward. With a little bit of assistance this resilient and self reliant man will be back on his feet.
