Urgent Appeal: Blankets Needed for Vulnerable Adults in Brisbane
We are a 22-bed adult hostel in Brisbane supporting First Nations adults who have experienced long-term homelessness and live with complex needs.
As the cost of living continues to rise and winter temperatures drop, many of our residents are struggling to stay warm. We are currently facing a shortage of essential bedding and are urgently seeking blankets and warm bedding donations.
What We Need
New or gently used blankets
Quilts/doonas
Warm throws
Sleeping bags (clean and in good condition)

Have long histories of homelessness
Are rebuilding stability and safety
Often have limited access to basic comforts
A warm blanket can make a significant difference — not just physically, but emotionally — helping people feel safe, cared for, and valued.
