We are supporting a 15 year old Aboriginal boy who has been chosen to travel to Queensland to compete in a basketball tournament. Despite facing many challenges, being placed in multiple foster homes during his childhood and having no immediate family to support home, this young legend has managed to maintain school attendance and found a passion for Basketball. He has worked hard to secure a spot in the team to travel to Queensland to compete. As he is a child of the state funding and support for him is limited. We are hoping to get him all the required equipment for him to feel comfortable and confident during his trip. Items such as toiletries and bag, suitcases, vouchers for shoes, sports duffle bag, portable charger would make the world of difference for him.
