42 yo Aboriginal woman is seeking assistance following a serious bus accident that resulted in a fractured lower back. She is experiencing ongoing significant pain and has limited mobility, unable to walk for more than a few minutes.
She is currently on a public hospital waiting list for surgery, with an estimated wait time of approximately nine months. Due to the severity of her condition and its impact on daily functioning, she is exploring private surgery; however, this is financially unachievable.
She has not received compensation from her accident claim and is under significant financial strain. As a result, she has taken out loans and sold essential household items to cover basic living expenses.
