A bright and energetic six-year-old girl in care has experienced more uncertainty in her early years than any child should have to endure. She has moved between homes and experienced abuse, neglect and unstable care, making it difficult for her to know what it feels like to truly feel safe and settled.
Today, she is being given the opportunity to experience something different: a home where she can feel safe, loved, valued and supported. She is an active, playful young girl who loves life, enjoys being involved and has so much personality and potential.
We want to help create an environment that feels like more than just a place to live. We want it to feel like home a place filled with warmth, laughter, fun, comfort and a sense of belonging, where she can simply be a six-year-old and continue growing, learning and building positive memories.
