Mum and 4 kids had been homeless for the past year. They secured housing for six months, only to find the landlord now wants the house back to live in. Mum has recently understood that the landlord has extended the rental while the landlord is away, a firm return date not provided to her. Mum reached out to housing support organisations, but in the mean time, she is struggling with finances for anything other than the most basic of daily living needs.. Anything else, like unplanned incidentals for herself and her family, are very much a struggle, and will go without.
