A single mother of two children under 10, with one being a baby, who has recently secured permanent housing after experiencing homelessness for approximately six years. The family is transitioning from supported accommodation into their new home and requires assistance to purchase essential household items.
The family has moved into permanent housing with limited household belongings and is reliant on Parenting Payment and Family Tax Benefit. Gift cards will provide flexibility to purchase essential whitegoods, furniture, and household items required to establish a safe, functional, and stable home environment for both children. This support will assist the family to successfully sustain their tenancy and continue building stability following a prolonged period of homelessness.
