After being led to believe she would have ongoing support during her pregnancy, much of that support has recently been withdrawn, leaving her feeling frightened, isolated, and overwhelmed at a critical time. While she lives in supported independent accommodation, the service does not provide for the essential needs of a newborn.
She is preparing to welcome her baby with very limited resources and currently has few of the basic items needed.
Despite facing significant challenges, this young mother is doing her best to prepare for her baby's arrival. Any, resources, or practical support would make a significant difference and help ensure both mother and baby have the essentials needed for a safe and healthy start together.
