29-year-old father is a proud and dedicated single parent to his energetic 2-year-old son. He currently cares for his son under an 80/20 shared care arrangement with the child’s mother, and is deeply committed to providing a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment.
Since 2024, he had been residing with his mother in an overcrowded living situation, a small two-bedroom demountable located behind a permanent residence. The home environment was significantly constrained, and this was further impacted by his mother’s alcohol use. Despite these challenges, he remained focused on ensuring his son’s safety and wellbeing.
On 28 May 2026, he successfully secured a private rental property for himself and his son, a significant and positive step toward independence and stability.
