A single Mum and her two children who have finally secured a rental property after four months of homelessness, during which they were sleeping in their car, couch surfing and staying in air bnb’s. The family is moving into an empty home and urgently needs a fridge to store food safely and limit the amount of cost to go and get cold food items every time they need a meal.
Mum has limited income, no access to Centrelink due to her NZ visa status, and is rebuilding safety and stability after escaping domestic violence. A fridge will greatly assist this family as they transition out of crisis.
