Family in desperate need of support

We are seeking community support for a mother and her three children who have recently been accepted into our transitional accommodation program. For some time, the family has been experiencing homelessness and has been couch surfing at a relative’s home. The property is currently extremely overcrowded, with more than 13 people living in the house. One of the children has a disability (ASD), which has made the situation even more challenging for the family. The family has now been offered transitional accommodation, providing them with a safe and stable place to begin rebuilding their lives. While the mother does have some furniture currently in storage, she will still require several essential household items to help set up the new home. At this stage we are seeking donations of: A cot, basic household items, kitchenware, bedding and linen, towels and curtains.
