31- year- old single mother with an intellectual disability has recently secured one-bedroom shared accommodation after a period of homelessness. She is currently living with her two sons aged six, and five months, with mum and both boys sharing one bedroom. The five-month-old baby is currently sleeping in a newborn bassinet which he has outgrown. As he is becoming more active, this is now unsafe and there is a risk of falling. Support is requested for a porta cot to provide a safe and appropriate sleeping space.
Due to recent instability and limited resources, the baby is currently not meeting some developmental milestones. The family has very few belongings, and assistance with simple developmental toys (play mat, sensory toys or tummy time toys).
These items would provide a safe sleeping space and support baby's development during an important stage of growth.
