51-year-old tenant who is facing overwhelming challenges and is at serious risk of losing his home. He recently lost his mother, and the grief has impacted every aspect of his life. He lives with his 19-year-old son and is struggling with severe health complications, requiring methadone medication. His mental health has deteriorated significantly, and he is experiencing profound grief and depression. Since taking over the tenancy after his mother’s passing, the property care has declined because he is unable to cope. He acknowledges the need to tidy up his home, but the lack of storage solutions makes this task feel impossible. He fears that without immediate support, he will be taken to NCAT, which would only worsen his fragile state.
