Mum is struggling financially due to experiencing financial abuse from father of children who is also perpetrating emotional abuse, therefore Mum is finding it difficult to get him to leave. This also creates an extra cost for Mum with him being there and not contributing financially to household costs or for the children.
Mum receives minimal income from Centrelink and has little family supports. Mum is extremely stressed how she will provide xmas presents for her children as the last week she could barely provide food for her children. Mum will go without to ensure her children are well fed. All these stressors are significantly impacting mum mental wellbeing and there is concerns of decline in her health and possible hospitalisation.
Phone and internet have recently been disconnected due to financial stress and this has created a safety concern having no contact with outside of the house.
Safety plans and supports are in place to assist with father leaving.
