Mum is the sole carer for three children. She has also taken in a foster child who has had several traumatic incidents. Mum has a terminal illness, which is causing significant ongoing physical and mental distress. The family is under extreme financial hardship following natural disaster, especially as mum is unable to work, and need to save up to afford essential items of clothing. There are also significant costs associated with mum's health care. The family has just had major repairs completed following natural disaster and are attempting to get the family home back in order. The family has faced additional stresses experiencing domestic and family violence.
