Single mother of three young children aged under 5 years with a baby. She has experienced family and domestic violence and was forced to flee her home with very few belongings after her ex-partner was released from prison for breaching a Domestic Violence Order (DVO). As he knew her address, she no longer felt safe remaining in the property.
She has recently secured a private rental after receiving Centrelink income support; however, the cost of rent leaves her with very limited funds for essential household items. She remains on the waiting list for government housing. Her oldest child has autism and significant support needs, including an eating disorder, making temporary accommodation unsuitable for the family.
The family is currently in need of essential household items. Any support that can be offered to help the family establish a safe and stable home would be greatly appreciated.
