Client is a survivor of domestic violence whose circumstances led to the loss of his career, income, and ultimately his housing. Following a period of homelessness, he was supported in transitional accommodation and has recently secured permanent community housing.
The client is living with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and is working hard to rebuild his life after experiencing significant trauma and financial hardship. While he now has the security of a home, he has very few possessions and is unable to afford essential bedroom furniture.
Assistance with a bed, mattress, bedside table, chest of drawers, or wardrobe would help transform his new house into a safe, comfortable home and support his recovery, independence, and long-term housing stability.
