My client is 17-year-old young woman who is currently expecting her first child. She has experienced significant challenges in her life and is currently involved with foster care and child safety services. With limited support networks and ongoing vulnerability, she is facing the transition into motherhood under very difficult circumstances.
As my client prepares for the arrival of her baby, having access to essential items will help provide safety, stability, and confidence as a first-time mother. A pram is especially important, as it will allow her to safely transport her baby to appointments, support services, and everyday activities. Without reliable family support or financial stability, purchasing these essential items on her own is extremely difficult.
