Recipient story
4 children in desperate need for single mattresses
Other hardship(s)
Single mother caring for 5 young children, with additional needs is experiencing significant financial hardship. Two weeks ago their fridge broke down and food had to be thrown out; and now the children's mattresses have been soiled and with all the wet weather recently mold has taken a hold and now they are unsafe for the children to sleep on.
This mother is struggling to pay the weekly bills with the current costs of living, and these circumstances have exacerbated the situation. As it is, the family are living without a television and are getting by with the bare essentials.
