Client has experienced significant adversity, including family violence, homelessness, displacement during bushfires and floods, addiction, and ongoing health challenges. Following the breakdown of her marriage, she endured prolonged legal proceedings, separation from her children, and periods of homelessness. She continues to manage the impacts of trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic health conditions.
Despite these challenges, our client has shown remarkable resilience and is determined to create a better life for herself and her children. She now lives in stable accommodation and is studying a Cert IV in Mental Health and Community Services while completing a work placement, with the goal of using her lived experience to support others in her community.
Living on JobSeeker, our client recently exhausted her savings replacing her vehicle after it became unusable. She is now struggling to cover fuel costs for placement and medical appointments, as well as essential groceries.
