The client is a single mother of two young children who has experienced prolonged housing instability, including two years in emergency motel accommodation. Before this, she was living in bushland while pregnant after escaping domestic violence. She has a significant history of trauma dating back to childhood. She has recently been offered a long‑term property through the Department of Housing and currently has no household items to establish her new home. As she is moving to another region, we are seeking vouchers for fuel and to purchase essential household items.
