The client is a retired mother who late last year moved from England to Australia to live near her only child. The client is experiencing elder abuse from her son who is restricting her access to her savings and her grandchildren. As a result, the client is experiencing significant distress and some economic hardship. She is not eligible for Centrelink benefits and only has a small UK government pension.
