Client lives alone and has experienced significant trauma as a result of war. He currently resides in public housing and has been quietly working to rebuild his life. However, ongoing mental health challenges continue to impact his wellbeing and daily functioning.
Client is actively engaged with counselling services and has made positive progress in his recovery. He was previously employed as an Uber driver but suffered a back injury that has prevented him from continuing this work.
Client is a quiet and respectful individual who maintains his property to a good standard. Unfortunately, the financial support he receives through Centrelink is insufficient to cover all of his essential living expenses, particularly the cost of medications and other daily necessities.
Assistance in the form of grocery and pharmacy vouchers would help alleviate his financial hardship and ensure he can continue to access essential items while focusing on his recovery and wellbeing.
