This community member has experienced a deeply challenging year marked by grief, declining mental health, and ongoing financial pressure. He has been working through the impacts of PTSD, longstanding service-related trauma, and recent personal loss, all of which have made day-to-day functioning overwhelming. Financial strain, debt and difficulty navigating disability supports have added even more stress, leaving very limited capacity to manage extra costs.
Christmas is a heavy time emotionally, but also a meaningful opportunity for him to reconnect with his son and create moments of calm after a year of instability. Support is needed to reduce some of the immediate financial barriers so he can provide a simple, grounded Christmas experience that brings comfort and connection during a period where he is trying hard to rebuild and stay well.
