A First Nations mother is experiencing significant grief following the recent loss of her mother, compounded by another tragic family loss. As she undertakes sorry business and travels to Country to meet cultural obligations, the emotional toll has been immense. The ongoing stress and heartbreak have had a profound impact on her mental health, leaving her feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and struggling with daily functioning. Financial pressures linked to funeral costs and travel have created further economic hardship, affected her overall stability and increasing her need for housing and homelessness support. There are also underlying FDV risk factors requiring a trauma-informed, culturally safe response. Despite these challenges, she remains dedicated to her children and families, continuing to provide care and stability. She would benefit from compassionate support, including mental health support, financial assistance, and coordinated services to help her heal and maintain wellbeing
