The client is a young single mother who arrived in Australia seeking safety after experiencing years of forced marriage, family violence, and emotional abuse.
Since arriving, she and her five-year-old son have faced ongoing housing instability, financial hardship, and unsafe living environments.
The client experienced further violence, controlling behaviour, and emotional distress while living with family members and her former husband.
She is currently staying temporarily in a rented room provided through community support but remains at risk of housing insecurity.
The ongoing trauma and instability have significantly impacted both the client’s mental health and her son’s wellbeing.
The family urgently requires support with essential household items, bedding, warm clothing, and basic living necessities.
Despite these challenges, the client remains determined to rebuild a safe and stable future for herself and her child through education and support services.
