Baby V is a 4-month-old infant who has remained in hospital since birth due to multiple, complex medical conditions requiring 24/7 care. She continues to need ongoing hospitalisation as her medical team works to stabilise her condition.
Baby V also has a 2-year-old brother with additional needs, and her parents have very limited support networks. The family is experiencing significant financial hardship while trying to manage the ongoing demands of caring for two children with complex needs.
As Baby V’s condition evolves, she requires an adaptive pram to support her daily care, strong & sturdy, has room for her medical equipment, provides full body support (important for long hospital use) and can grow with her over time and eventual transition between hospital and home environments.
