Young Indigenous mother flees violence, needs essentials and food vouchers to rebuild a safe stable home for her children
Domestic & Family Violence
First Nations Support
We are supporting a young Indigenous mother of three who recently fled domestic violence to protect her children and rebuild their lives in safety. Arriving at their new home with very few belongings, the house currently lacks essential items needed for daily living. She is working hard to create stability, but urgently requires basic household necessities such as furniture, bedding, rugs, and kitchen appliances to build a safe, comfortable environment. The family also needs food vouchers to help meet immediate needs during this difficult transition period. Assistance through GIVIT vouchers for both household essentials and food will play a critical role in helping her establish a secure, nurturing home where her children can recover, feel safe and thrive.
