Mother of four rebuilding after homelessness seeks furniture support to maintain stability and keep her family connected
This 36-year-old Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mother is raising four children aged 9 to 16 and is working hard to rebuild her family's future after experiencing homelessness two years ago. While adjusting to stable housing, she continues to face weekly neighbour complaints regarding noise, visitors and her family's day-to-day living, placing significant pressure on her tenancy. Despite these challenges, she remains committed to meeting her tenancy obligations, supporting her children's wellbeing, and creating positive change. She is currently undertaking training to become a social worker and actively seeking support to keep her teenage son engaged and focused on a brighter future. Assistance with bedroom furniture for three children and a dining table and chairs would help this family create a safe, comfortable home where they can gather, connect and thrive together.
