GIVIT
We are working with a young mum with a disability who is needing support to get back on her feet. Due to recent funding changes, she unfortunately lost her previous supports, which meant essential household cleaning could not be maintained. This has now become overwhelming for her.
Several of her appliances have broken down, leaving her unable to wash clothes, and her fridge is no longer working, so she has no way to safely store food. In addition, broken fly screens have left her home vulnerable to insects.
She urgently needs support to restore her home to a safe and healthy condition for herself, her young son, and their pets.
