We are supporting a young mum with a disability who is working hard to get back on her feet. She grew up in foster care and has no family support, meaning she manages everything on her own. Her young son also has a disability, and due to her own disability and his additional care needs, she is unable to work at this time.
Recently, both her fridge and washing machine broke, significantly impacting her and her young son’s health and wellbeing. She managed to purchase a second-hand fridge and stocked it with groceries; however, it broke on 07/10/25, resulting in all food being spoiled. She now has no working fridge and is urgently in need of one to safely store food and care for her son.
