Elderly male recovered from cancer, lung issues. No family support, previously homeless. Secured accommodation long term.

Elderly man who was located residing in a vehicle after surgery to treat prostate cancer. Suffers heart and lung issues (serious). He has suffered from schizophrenia his entire life and is managing the symptoms with few relapses.
These health issues resulted in serious weight loss, joint swelling, lack of lung function, and potential kidney damage.
He was placed into emergency accommodation which has resulted in significant improvements to health. A purchased mobility scooter has allowed for freedom to some extent and created opportunity. His NDIS application fell through. He was linked to My Aged Care and has been granted assistance codes.
We have managed to source a ground floor disability unit he can reside in and he requires furnishings. Bed was located through local op shop and washing machine through other charities. He possesses very little and was unable to save due to his situation, he is pursuing NIL Loans and other avenues to make the unit his forever home.
