2025 NSW Mid North Coast & Hunter Floods
We are seeking support for an elderly man who lost everything in the 2025 Mid North Coast floods. He resides in a retirement village and was uninsured at the time of the disaster. Living on a very low income and experiencing mobility challenges, he has not been eligible for government grant assistance.
While he did not have many possessions, what he had were essential items that made his small unit safe, comfortable and functional. The floods have left him starting again from nothing.
Thanks to the generosity of local community groups, he has received support with some furniture and whitegoods. However, there are still several essential items needed to make his home fully livable again. These requests represent the final pieces of the puzzle in helping her regain comfort, dignity, and independence in his home.
