My client is a refugee who arrived two years ago. She is motivated to study and currently learning English at TAFE with hopes of enrolling into university once she has sufficient English language skills.
My client is the oldest child among six and also has family responsibilities as her single mother is not in the best of health. This has made studying and getting a job challenging but she is trying hard. The family cannot afford extras due to cost of living. They will be spending more on rent soon as their lease cannot be renewed. This is putting further strain on their finances.
My client would like a tablet to help her study better. The bigger screen and portable nature would give her the flexibility especially in a home that is often busy and crowded.
