She’s 17 and days away from being a mum. She already needs support to manage daily life, but every service expects a phone, an email—something that’s hers....she doesn’t have that.
She uses her parents’ phone. She uses their email. Appointments, reminders, messages—all sent somewhere she isn’t the first to see them.
So, she keeps things simple, when people ask how she’s going. Says she’s fine, even when she isn’t. There’s no space to ask questions or admit she doesn’t understand.
If she’s out with her baby and something goes wrong, she looks for a public phone. If there isn’t one, she just manages as best she can.
She wants to do this right and with the right support and space to be heard, she could find her way—and thrive.
