This brave woman needed to leave her home country Sri Lanka due to the violence she was being subject to by her husband. She had a premature birth due to the abuse and almost lost her newborn daughter. she fled Sri Lanka with her baby to become a refugee and face homelessness in Australia. this woman is now on a bridging visa and has been waiting for permanent residency for three years now. she has educated herself and is working part time. She has now been offered safe and secure permanent accommodation which is a long-term solution which she is very grateful of. She now needs support to furnish this. she is thankful to be considered.
