First Nations family exposed to health risks associated with mold

X is an active part of her community and regularly used to volunteer her time to help create food packs that were distributed to the elders in her community. She did this whilst raising her 5 children ranging from the ages of 2-16 years old.
She is in a very inconvenient housing situation as her permanent residence is currently being fumigated due to ongoing issues with mold which has caused chronic respiratory health issues for all her children due to the incredible delayed response from Homes NSW. They had placed her in a motel initially however due to having no access to basic amenities it was too difficult to even cook meals so she has been moved into temporary accommodation but was told it could be nearly 6 more months before they can be cleared to move back home. Although the current place has better facilities she said she is missing some basic items like linens and storage receptacles which is why she was asking for a Kmart voucher so she can furnish the accommodation.
