EMERGENCY Single mum in new housing with minimal belongings, requiring support to establish stability

This young single parent has recently secured and moved into her first stable home after significant hardship and housing instability. At 20 years old, she has limited informal supports and ongoing financial stress. She also experiences cognitive delay, which can make navigating services and establishing a household more challenging without support.
Her child is engaged in early intervention therapies due to developmental concerns, adding further pressure on the family. Due to prolonged instability, they have only been able to retain very limited household items, impacting their ability to maintain a functional home.
We have explored available supports and made referrals to relevant services; however, due to limited resources and eligibility constraints, they have been unable to provide financial or material assistance.
Support at this time will help create a safe, stable home environment and strengthen ongoing wellbeing.
