Urgent Support for Young Expectant Family

A young couple is preparing to welcome their first baby while facing overwhelming challenges. Mum is just 17 and 26 weeks pregnant, and their baby has been diagnosed with Turner syndrome, bringing uncertainty and ongoing medical needs. Every two weeks, they make an exhausting 12-hour round trip to Hobart for specialist care, with the likelihood of being away from home for weeks pre-birth and when baby is born.
They are currently living in a crowded home with extended family already stretched caring for children with complex needs. Despite everything, they are trying their best to prepare, but the emotional and financial strain is immense.
We are seeking support with essential baby items such as a cot, pram and car seat. A simple act of generosity would take a huge weight off their shoulders and give them the chance to focus on loving and caring for their baby during an incredibly vulnerable time.
