The client is a survivor of FDV, with the perpetrator now incarcerated. She is also coping with the recent loss of her mother, who was the primary carer for her son, with whom she is now working towards reunification.
Following a long history of substance misuse, the client is demonstrating strong motivation to make positive changes and rebuild her life. As a result of the violence, she has been left managing significant damage to her government housing, leading to substantial tenancy liability and placing her housing at risk.
With the support of our organisation, she has already begun making meaningful progress and remains hopeful for a more stable and positive future. She is doing everything she can to create a safe and secure home environment and has reached out for support to continue moving forward. Any assistance during this time would make a significant and lasting difference.
